Hello Neat & Tangled Fans!

We’re on Day 4 of the Neat & Tangled September Release!  What have been your FAVES so far?  I know, I know…all of it πŸ™‚

Today will certainly not disappoint you!

Today we’re featuring

Here…I’ll spare you from rotating your view:

I know, isn’t it FABulous?!

I teamed it up with Studio Calico’s Brighton Pier {Thanks Lisa!}.

I heat embossed the map in gold. I stamped the fabulous sentiment in black….which I think works nicely with the:

wake up and be awesome

This is going to go to my boy as he starts the college application process.  So exciting and a smidge scary for this Momma.  I’m so thankful that my girl is going to college in state but I do have to admit that I was an emotional mess when she moved into the dorms….I can’t believe what I’ll be like if my boy goes out of state…specifically NY state.  That’s a bit of a drive from Washington State πŸ™‚  He knows that I want him to pick what’s best for him and the opportunity for him to live in NY is really calling his name.

It’s all good…I know that he’ll:

go and do amazing things

I really crafted up a storm for this release and averaged at least 2 projects per set!  It’s all so easy when everything is so over the top AWESOME to work with!

Here’s a shaker card using the Origami Map:

Brownie points for using the pocket card that was in my stash.  I’m pretty sure that I received it as a rak and I’ve been saving it for something perfect and I’m super happy how it pops off of the kraft base.

Those sequins:

That’s it for me today!

  5. First of all, thanks for the rotation! LOL! And I LOVE this set and what you did with it! I love how serendipitous your supplies are–that shaker is perfectly cute!! Best of luck to your son. If he decides on NY, it'll make his homecomings even more special!

  8. Fabulous cards, Amy, those are neat stamps. I am not fond of pink but I love that card! Hopefully your boy will find his school and Mom will be okay! Empty nesting is really difficult. Thinking about you in this process! Have a wonderful Friday!

  9. Love what you did what Miriam's unique and cool stamp! Hugs to you momma for encouraging the littles to follow their dreams. I can't imagine when my day comes. For now I'll hang on to the years I have left!!

  10. This stamp set is my favourite so far and you rocked it! I absolutely love the gold embossing over the patterned paper. Have never thought to do that, brilliant idea and looks so good with those beautiful colours. And can never go past a fabulous shaker card, the stamps make the perfect background and love all those clear sequins. Amazing!!

  11. Oh, wow, these are both SO cool, Amy! I LOVE the bright pink shaker card on the kraft base and love the sunray effect on the first, too. Just awesome!

  12. Origami map – seriously, how cool and unique is THAT? Your showcases: stellar! The shaker is a delight, but it's the one for your boy that's stolen my heart…for its beauty, but more so for its essence. He WILL do awesome things, because he has confidence, that stems from all the support and encouragement you give him. Awesome mom = awesome son. Simple math *grin*
    Hugs~c
