cool priority mail

Here’s a quick card I whipped together while crafting with Kate & Kimberly last weekend:
I was smart to pack my neglected Simon Says Stamp kits…I didn’t have to spend time picking out cardstock and pattern paper!

All supplies are from the July kit!

This fits perfectly with

CAS●ology

and this week over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog it is

Anything Goes!

I don’t generally post 2 cards within one post…but I didn’t want to miss the deadline on my next card:

cardstock:  su night of navy, chickaniddy crafts goldie lox, cherry veneer, pti pure poppy  paper:  simon says stamp/july 2014 kit, studio calico yearbook  stamps:  reverse confetti/let’s chill  ink:  gold embossing  other: reverse confetti/confetti cuts/let’s chill, t$ spot twine, project life/americana
I finally broke down and bought the Reverse Confetti Let’s Chill stamp & confetti cuts…why yes it is almost the end of summer but isn’t it summer somewhere in this great big world of ours?

That twine is from the T$ spot…it’s a little squirrely so I knew I had to make the side notches to help keep it in place.  The paper on the popsicle is Studio Calico…can you see the Chickaniddy Crafts Goldie Lox paper shining through?  The red/blue striped panel is Simon Says Stamp/July and the PL card is from the Americana set…I knew that I could alter the cards

Do you notice the glitter?  It’s Melissa Frances’ Glass Glitter…sigh…love that stuff and I’m trying hard to NOT hoard it.  See the popsicle stick?  It’s been die cut from cherry veneer paper.
