Create a Smile Guestie: peace

post 2 of 2 for me today…click HERE for Chickaniddy Crafts.

Hello!

Happy Wednesday!

This is my 3rd week as a Guest Designer over at

I knew I wanted to play with the Jungle Fever set, specifically the Star Gazer Lily image:
cardstock:  pti, strathmore watercolor, paper accents vellum  stamps:  create a smile/jungle fever /your view ink:  staz on black, distress ink picked raspberry, copics  other:  top dog dies mini tags, may arts twine,  savvy jar die

This is my favorite flower…I knew that I wanted to use my distress ink, picked raspberry.  I used my sharpie pen to elongate the stems on the flowers.

I used a die to cut out the mason jar vase.  I colored the backside of the vellum with copic markers for the water.  I finished it off with a peace tag.  The sentiment is from the Your View set.

Thanks so much for stoppin’ by and I’d LOVE for you to swing by the Create a Smile to leave me some bloggie love!

  1. Oh my gorgeousness! I love this, Amy! Did you color the flowers inside or is it just a solid stamp of the flower? It looks awesome! Coloring the backside of the vellum looks so real! May

  2. Such a pretty vase of flowers! "Picked raspberry" – love the name; love the colour; love how you've used it!
