paper smooches: go to your happy place

Where is your happy place?
I have many but one of my more consistent one is in the early morning hours…when the rest of the household is asleep and I’m in front of the computer or is that the computer is in front of me?  It’s how I start my morning…with, of course, a cup of coffee:
I fussed with this card, a lot.  Not so much with the colors but the shape and placement of the ‘steam’.

After much thought I fussy cut the top panel.

Can you believe that I used a total of 8 distress stains?

faded jeans
broken china
tumbled glass
scattered straw
mustard seed
wild honey
spiced marmalade
rusty hinge

I used the Huey triangles mask.

My coffee cup, from the Paper Smooches Cyber Cafe set, has been stamped with StazOn using upcycled/recycled letterpress paper {thanks Erin!}.   The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, Get Outta Town.

I was inspired by the Paper Smooches

LOVE the inspiration photo!

Since I used a stencil, I’m also linking up to the Simon Wednesday Challenge!
…Thanks to Lisa for reminding me about Paper Issues’ current challenge,
